I Know You..

...I walked with you once upon a dream. I know you, and I dance better than my mom did on stage in college and I am only 2 years old...

Annie doesn't just watch 'sleeping beauty,' she acts out the entire film, including the running away from the stranger ("doo bigh! oh nehber, NEHBER!") and the true love's first kiss scene ("you tiss me mom," then she waits with her eyes closed until she hears the appropriate climax-of-the-movie-waking-up music). She prefers Z as her prince phillip, but daddy will also do. and I am a distant third, but still acceptable. and as we dance the last scene away, Annie interjects the final fairy tiff: "PEE! BOO! PEE! BOO!" (yes, pink is still 'pee' and if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's been too long since you've seen sleeping beauty.)

Yup. Better look into toddler dance lessons. I hope they allow dress-up twirly dresses from grama tilly.

and earrings.

and neon yellow high heels.

My Sally (4) was watching me read your blog and said that "I really wish I could play at her house" and when I told her that Annie lives far, far away she replied "I can pack." Sally would love to dance/act with Annie to Sleeping Beauty.

So darling. You know I read every post you write, right? :) I was thinking about you today because I found this fun tutorial for a darling little skirt. http://alisaburke.blogspot.com/2010/03/petticoat-tutorial.html
I could totally see you (Michelle) wearing your own version of this. Or, Annie. :) Anyway, sending smiles!!
